[Indications]

Adult patients with non-metastatic denuded resistant prostate cancer (NM-CRPC) with high risk of metastasis;

Treatment of Asymptomatic or Minimally Symptomatic Adult Patients with Metastatic Chemoresistant Prostate Cancer (CRPC) After Failure of male hormone Deprivation Therapy (ADT) and Not Receiving Chemotherapy.

[Dosage]

The recommended dose is 160 mg of enzalutamide (four 40 mg softgels) taken orally once daily.

Non-surgically debrided patients should continue pharmacologic debridement with luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) analogs for the duration of treatment.

If a patient fails to take their medication on time, they should take the prescribed dose as soon as possible. If you miss a full day of medication, you should continue to take your usual daily dose the next day.

Concomitant use with potent CYP2C8 inhibitors

Co-administration with potent CYP2C8 inhibitors should be avoided if possible.

If patients must take a potent CYP2C8 inhibitor concomitantly, the dose of enzalutamide should be reduced to 80 mg once daily. After discontinuation of coadministration of a potent CYP2C8 inhibitor, the dose of enzalutamide should be restored to the pre-coadministration level.
