【Indications】

This product is suitable for adult patients with chronic liver disease-related thrombocytopenia scheduled for elective diagnostic procedures or surgery.

Patients with chronic liver disease should not take this product to restore normal platelet counts.

【Dosage】

This product is administered orally and should be taken with food once a day for 5 consecutive days.

If a dose is missed, the dose should be taken immediately when discovered, and the next dose should be taken at the originally planned time the next day. Do not increase a single dose to make up for a missed dose.

Start taking this product 10 to 13 days before an elective invasive test or surgery. Select the recommended dose based on the patient's platelet count (see Table 1 of the Instructions). Only a once-daily dosing regimen of 5 days has been studied in clinical trials in patients with chronic liver disease (see Labeling [Clinical Trials]). Patients should complete all 5 days of treatment and undergo surgery within 5 to 8 days of the last dose.
