【Indications】
This product is used in combination with prednisone or prednisolone for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) and newly diagnosed high-risk metastatic endocrine therapy-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC), including patients who have not received endocrine therapy or are receiving endocrine therapy. Treatment should last no longer than 3 months.

【Dosage】
Recommended dosage

The recommended dose of this product is 1000 mg (4 x 250 mg tablets) taken orally once daily.

This product is used in combination with prednisone or prednisolone 5 mg orally twice daily for the treatment of patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC).

This product is used in combination with prednisone or prednisolone 5 mg orally once daily for the treatment of newly diagnosed high-risk metastatic endocrine therapy-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC).

Patients receiving this product should also receive a gonadotropin-releasing hormone analog (GnRHa) or should have undergone bilateral orchiectomy. This product must be taken on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before and 2 hours after a meal (see the instructions [Pharmacokinetics]). This product should be swallowed whole with water. Do not break or chew.

【Adverse reactions】
Due to pharmacodynamic effects due to its mechanism of action, this product may cause hypertension, hypokalemia, and fluid retention. The most common clinical adverse reactions are peripheral edema, hypokalemia, hypertension and urinary tract infection. Other important adverse reactions include heart disease, liver toxicity, bone fractures, and allergic alveolitis. Usually, adverse reactions to mineralocorticoids can be effectively controlled after treatment. Coadministration of corticosteroids can reduce the incidence and severity of adverse effects from these drugs.
