[Indications]

Prevention of acute and delayed CINV with highly and moderately emetogenic chemotherapy. Triple regimen with 5-HT3 antagonist and dexamethasone.

[Mechanism of Action]

Selective high-affinity NK1 receptor antagonist blocking substance P-mediated emetic reflex in the CNS. Superior delayed-phase CINV control.

[Dosage]

130mg IV infusion over 30 min on day 1, 30 min before chemotherapy. Use with dexamethasone and 5-HT3 antagonist.

[Adverse Reactions]

Fatigue, hiccups, constipation, headache, decreased appetite. CYP3A4 substrate; adjust concomitant CYP3A4 substrates.
